Quick-reference table

One load.
3 batteries.

Every cell below uses rated capacity × 80% ÷ average load. It is a consistent planning comparison—not a measured runtime claim.

The battery capacities and model identities are tied to Canadian manufacturer pages. Runtime remains a calculation, and this table does not assert stock, price, warranty handling or suitability for a particular appliance.

Estimated hours by average load

Starting power must be checked separately. A runtime cell does not prove that a motor or appliance can start.

Values round to one decimal. At very low draw, unbudgeted inverter or station overhead can shorten runtime substantially. Battery condition, temperature, power-saving behaviour and load variation also change real results.

How to use the chart

Bracket the load before trusting one number.

Example 01

50W load on 1,024Wh

1,024Wh × 80% ÷ 50W = about 16.4 hours. Add measured idle overhead to the load for a stronger estimate.

Example 02

500W load on 1,024Wh

The same battery calculates to about 1.6 hours. High-load conversion behavior and battery temperature can move the result.

Example 03

A 1,000W appliance

Runtime is under an hour for most models here. Continuous and starting output remain separate pass/fail checks.
