What the shared record contains
4 meter profiles are currently linked: AC plug-in meters for mains appliances, USB meters for charging paths and DC meters for 12V circuits. Each profile documents what it measures, its range and its limitations.
Irish sockets need a Type G path
The mains plug format is part of the meter record. For Irish 230V/50Hz household sockets the meter must present a Type G plug (or connect through a correctly rated Type G lead); a shared record describing another plug format needs an Irish-compatible version before use.
