A fibre ONT, modem and Wi-Fi router together usually draw far less than a fridge, so a modest battery can cover hours of connectivity. Provider-side outages and street-cabinet power are outside your control.
Measure the real network load
Fiber terminals, mesh nodes, PoE switches and provider hardware can push a simple router-plus-modem pair well above 20W. Read every adapter label or measure the complete network at the wall before sizing.
Connectivity plus fans and lights
A useful home-cut plan often combines the network load with a ceiling fan and LED lights. Add the loads together, then check the continuous output, 230V/50Hz regional model and Type D connection path separately.
