For mains-powered or chargeable equipment, look for the Australian electrical rating, Type I connection where applicable, the correct model identifier, RCM evidence and an Australian responsible supplier. A certificate by itself is not treated as proof that a product may be supplied locally.
Warranty and consumer support
Manufacturer warranties are additional to automatic consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law. Seller, warranty territory and remedy path still need checking for the exact offer.
