Your Power Setup exists because advertised watt-hours alone cannot tell you whether a complete portable-power setup will work.
Calculation
The simple runtime examples on product pages use 80–90% of rated battery capacity and the documented or estimated low-to-high draw of the selected device. Our adjustable calculators show their own efficiency, battery-reserve and idle-draw settings, so their results can differ from those examples. Both are planning estimates, not laboratory results.
Compatibility
We separately assess continuous output, short peak demand, solar-input voltage and current, physical connector path and regional AC version. A connector match never overrides an unsafe electrical mismatch.
Evidence labels
Manufacturer specifications, calculated estimates, community measurements and Your Power Setup tests remain separate evidence types. We will publish corrections and the date on which data was last checked.
Product profiles
A product profile is not called a review unless Your Power Setup has physically tested the unit. Current profiles transcribe documented capacity, output, solar-input limits and regional cautions from official manufacturer material, then add separately labelled calculations.
Regional verification
Identical model names can represent different AC voltage, frequency, socket layouts and output limits. We record the source region and warn when a cited document does not prove specifications for every market.
Corrections
Every commercial page links to its underlying source. When a manufacturer changes a specification, we update the central product record so the matcher, comparison and detail page change together. Evidence-based corrections can be sent to contact@yourpowersetup.com.
Commercial policy
Retail commission cannot affect calculation inputs or ranking. We do not call a product “tested” unless we physically tested it, and we do not present manufacturer claims as independent measurements.
