Run these checks when an Australian offer does appear — none of them is satisfied by a shared product name or a travel adaptor.
- Electrical envelope. Check operating voltage, cold-weather open-circuit voltage and current against the station input. Matching watts alone does not prove compatibility.
- Connector path. Confirm connector type, polarity, extension length and every adapter between panel and station. Similar-looking solar connectors are not automatically interchangeable.
- Physical format. Compare folded or installed size, weight, mounting points, cable reach and weather rating for the actual use case.
- Freight and warranty. Panels can attract oversized shipping and expensive return freight. Confirm local warranty handling before importing one.
