Which solar cable do I need for my power station?
Match an MC4 solar panel to XT60, XT60i, DC8020, DC7909 or a proprietary power-station input without guessing from plug shape.

Identify both ends before shopping
Write down the panel output connector and the exact station input. Product photos are not enough: DC7909 and DC8020 are easily confused, while XT60 and XT60i belong to the same family but can expose different device behavior.
The cable cannot fix an electrical mismatch
The array open-circuit voltage, short-circuit current and total watts must remain inside the station limits. Cold weather can raise panel Voc, and series wiring raises voltage even when every individual panel appears suitable.
Package contents change by bundle
A solar-generator bundle may include the required lead while the bare station includes only an AC charging cable. Compare the exact country listing and box contents before adding an accessory to the order.

Practical answers
Are all MC4-to-XT60 cables the same?
No. Polarity, conductor size, connector implementation and supported current can differ. EcoFlow also distinguishes XT60i from XT60 and documents different behavior for some third-party leads.
Can I use an adapter if the plug fits?
Only after verifying voltage, current, polarity and the station manual. A passive adapter changes the physical connection; it does not convert an unsafe voltage or add an MPPT controller.
Does a solar bundle already include the cable?
Often, but not universally. The bare station, station-plus-panel bundle and regional package can have different contents, so check the exact listing rather than the model name alone.
